- বিএআরআই কর্তৃক উদ্ভাবিত ছোট এবং কম খরচে পাওয়ার টিলারের সাথে উত্তোলন যন্ত্র সংযোগ করে সহজে আলু উত্তোলন করা যায়।
- শ্রমিক নির্ভরশীলতা যাহা শ্রম কমায় ও মাটি থেকে সহজে ও স্বল্প সময়ে অধিক আলু উত্তোলন সু-নিশ্চিত করে।
Specification and working Principal: কার্যপ্রণালী:
Overall length, width and height of the harvester are 900 mm, 850 mm and 850 mm, respectively. Flat iron columns are welded on the blade in such a way that blade is inclined to the ground at an angle of 20° when column is vertical. Blade is 540 mm long and 325 mm wide and 6 mm sharpen at front. It is provided with a 50 x 50 x 6 mm angle iron at the rear bottom to increase its strength against bending. Single ridge opening devices can be bolted through opener bases at spacing of either 310 mm or 210 mm. In front of the conveyer chain there is high carbonated steel shovels bolted. In operating process, ridge cutter blade enters the ridge below the potato zone and cuts the ridge slice from the main soil mass. The cut ridge slice with tubers comes over high speed ladder type conveyer belt and most of the soil clods broken in small pieces and dropped among gapes of conveyer belt sticks and the potatoes are separated. The separated tubers are thrown behind the machine on loose soil surface.
বারি উদ্ভাবিত আলু উত্তোলন যন্ত্র পাওয়ার টিলারের সাথে সংযুক্ত হয়ে আলুকে মাটির গভীর থেকে উপড়িয়ে মাটির পৃষ্ঠে উম্মুক্ত করে। সার্বিকভাবে লম্বায়, প্রশস্ততায় ও উচ্চতায় এ যন্ত্রের মাপ ক্রমান্বয়ে, ৯০০ মিমি, ৮৫০ মিমি ও ৮৫০ মিমি। ফ্লাট আয়রন কলাম ব্লেডের উপর উলম্বভাবে ঝালাই করা থাকে যা মাটির সাথে ২০০ কোণে আনত থাকে। ব্লেডটি ৫৪০ মিমি লম্বা, ৩২৫ মিমি প্রশস্ত ও ধারালো অংশটি সামনের দিকে ৬ মিমি আগানো থাকে। যন্ত্রের পেছন দিকে নিচে ৫০×৫০×৬ মিমি এর একটি কোণ লোহা (এ্যাঙ্গেল আয়রন) লাগানো থাকে যা যন্ত্রটির বেকে যাওয়ার বিরুদ্ধে শক্তিশালী করে। সিঙ্গেল রিজ ওপেনিং ডিভাইসকে বোল্ট দ্বারা লাগানো হয় যথাক্রমে ৩১০ বা ২১০ মিমি দূরত্বে। কনভেয়ার চেইনের সামনে একটি উচ্চ মাত্রার কার্বন সম্বলিত ষ্টিল এর বেলচা বোল্ট দ্বারা লাগানো থাকে। যন্ত্রের কার্যপদ্ধতিতে রিজ কাটার ব্লেড বেডের নিচে রিজের অভ্যন্তরে আলু জন্মানোর স্থানে প্রবেশ করে রিজকে ফালিতে বিভক্ত করে। বিভক্তিকৃত রিজ কন্দাল সহকারে দ্রুতগামী মইয়ের কনভেয়ার বেল্টের সহিত বাইরে বের হয়ে আসে ও বেশিরভাগ মাটির চাকতি ভেঙ্গে গুড়ো গুড়ো হয়ে যায় এবং গুড়ো হওয়া মাটির চাকতি কনভেয়ার বেল্ট স্টিকের ফাকের মাঝে পড়তে থাকে ফলে আলু মাটি থেকে আলাদা হয়ে যায়। যন্ত্রটি আলগা হওয়া আলুকে যন্ত্রের পেছনে নরম মাটিতে ছুড়ে ফেলে।
Main functional parts: আলু উত্তোলন যন্ত্রের কার্যকরী অংশ:
- Power unit: Two wheel tractor (power tiller) which is widely used in Bangladesh as main drive unitof potato harvester. Generally 12 Hp power tiller is used
- Seeding unit: Seeding unit is fabricated locally which engaged with power tiller
- It is easily fitted with Dongfeng and Sifang type power tiller
- Harvesting unit is consists of some major components. Such as;
- Potato ridge cutter
- Ridge cutter adjuster
- Power transmission gear box
- Power transmission belt
- Tie rod
- Rotating conveyer (made with iron sticks and chains)
- Potato harvester frame (Fig. 1)
- শক্তি ইউনিট (পাওয়ার ইউনিট): বাংলাদেশের বহুল ব্যবহৃত যন্ত্র পাওয়ার টিলার এক্ষেত্রে প্রধান ড্রাইভার ইউনিট হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়। প্রধানত এ লক্ষ্যে ১২ অশ্বশক্তির পাওয়ার টিলার ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- আলু উত্তোলন ইউনিট: স্থানীয় প্রকৌশল কারখানায় স্থানীয়ভাবে প্রাপ্ত লৌহসামগ্রী দ্বারা তৈরি করা যায়। একে পাওয়ার টিলারের সাথে সংযুক্ত করা হয়।
- সাইফেং এবং ডংফেং ধরনের পাওয়ার টিলারের সাথে এ আলু উত্তোলন ইউনিট মানানসই ভাবে লাগানো যায়।
- উত্তোলন যন্ত্রের অংশগুলো কতগুলো প্রধান উপাংশে বিভক্ত যেমন-
- আলুর রিজ কাটার
- রিজ কাটার এডজাষ্টার
- শক্তি সঞ্চালক গিয়ার বাক্স
- শক্তি সঞ্চালক বেল্ট
- টাই রড
- ঘূর্ণায়মান কনভেয়ার (লৌহ দন্ড ও চেইনের সমন্বয়ে গঠিত)
Advantages : যন্ত্রের সুবিধা:
- Single ridge pulling/ cutting and maximum tuber exposing can be done in a single pass
- Working capacity (including manual tuber collection time): 0.12 ha per hour.
- Depth of ridge cutting / pulling is adjustable
- Most of the potatoes exposed on soil surface
- Potato harvester and its spare parts are manufactured locally.
- Operation and maintenance is very easy
- Environmental friendly
- No need of higher training
- Overcome risk of bad weather potato harvest
- Reduce total harvesting cost up to 50-55%
- Reduce harvesting labour cost up to 60-65% and
- Reduce 80-90% tuber damage during harvesting compare to conventional method.
- যন্ত্রটি একবার অতিক্রমকালে একটি উচু সারির আলু টেনে কর্তন করে সর্বোচ্চ পরিমান আলু মাটির গভীর থেকে উন্মুক্ত হওয়া নিশ্চিত করে।
- কার্যক্ষমতা ০.১২ হেক্টর/ঘন্টা।
- রিজকাটিং এর গভীরতা নিয়ন্ত্রনযোগ্য।
- স্থানীয় প্রকৌশল কারখানায় এ যন্ত্র ও যন্ত্রাংশ তৈরি করা যায়।

- পরিচালনার জন্য দক্ষ শ্রমিকের প্রয়োজনীয়তা নেই।

- মোট উত্তোলন খরচের ৫০-৫৫% কমানো যায়।
- ৬০-৬৫% শ্রমিক নির্ভরতা কমায়।
- প্রচলিত পদ্ধতির তুলনায় কন্দালের বাহ্যিক ক্ষতি ৮০-৯০% কম হয়।
- নতুন কর্মসংস্থানের পরিবেশ তৈরি করে।
Precautions: সর্তকতা:
- The device is well fitted with power tiller hitch point with nut-bolts
- Power transmission belts are properly fitted with power transmission gear box pulley and conveyer belt pulley
- All sticks of conveyer belt are in good working condition.
- All nut and bolts are tighten properly
- Potato ridge cutter depth is adjusted in optimum depth and angle.

- শক্তি সঞ্চালক বেল্টটি, শক্তি সঞ্চালক গিয়ার ও কনভেয়ার বেল্ট পুলি এর সাথে সঠিকভাবে সংযুক্ত করা হয়েছে।<.li>
- কনভেয়ার বেল্টের প্রতিটি লৌহ দন্ড (আয়রন স্টিক) কার্যক্ষম অবস্থায় আছে।<.li>
- নাট বল্টু সঠিকভাবে শক্ত করা আছে।<.li>
- আলু রিজ কাটারের গভীরতা সর্বোচ্চ অনুকূল গভীরতা ও কৌনিক কোনে সমন্বয় করা আছে।<.li>
উপরে উল্লেখিত ব্যবস্থা সু-নিশ্চিত করার পর পাওয়ার টিলারকে চালু করতে হবে। পাওয়ার টিলারকে আলুর রিজের দিকে স্থাপন করে রোটারিতে (ঘূর্ণায়মান অংশে) শক্তি হস্তান্তর করতে হবে এবং পাওয়ার টিলার সামনের দিকে ৩ কিমি/ঘন্টা গতিবেগে চালালে যন্ত্রের সর্বোচ্চ পরিমান কার্যক্ষমতা পাওয়া যাবে।
Maintenance: রক্ষনাবেক্ষণঃ
- Clean after the end of working period. Rotating conveyer belt, cutting blade and other parts to be washed by water.
- Apply Mobil or grease in rotating parts time to time
- At the end of working season harvester to be released from power tiller and keep it dry place and away from direct rain and sunshine.
- It is also necessary to warp the harvester hitch part by clean polythene sheet.
- কাজ শেষে পরিস্কার করে রাখতে হবে। ঘূর্নায়মান কনভেয়ার বেল্ট, কাটিং ব্লেড ও অন্যান্য যন্ত্রাংশকে পানি দ্বারা পরিস্কার করে রাখতে হবে।
- মবিল বা গ্রীজ ঘূর্নায়মান অংশে সময় সময় লাগাতে হবে ।
- মৌসুম শেষে পাওয়ার টিলার থেকে খুলে শুকনো স্থানে বৃষ্টির পানি ও সূর্যালোক থেকে দূরে সংরক্ষন করতে হবে।
- উত্তোলন যন্ত্রের হিঞ্চ অংশ পরিস্কার করে ভালো পলিথিন দ্বারা মুড়িয়ে রাখা আবশ্যকীয়।
